Brian holds a B.S. degree from the University of Minnesota’s Housing Program emphasizing in Housing Technology. His education and hands on experience aids him with his daily responsibilities which include providing technical support and professional training on spray foam and application guidance for both residential and commercial construction.

Ibrahim Huseen, M. Eng.
Construction and Standards Regulations Specialist
Ibrahim Huseen is a Construction and Standards Regulations Specialist at BASF Canada. In his role, he focuses on national and provincial building codes and standards. Ibrahim provides engineering support for the polyurethane spray foam (SPF) business. He manages research and development of projects across North America. He also participates in ULC and ASTM standards developments. Prior to joining BASF, he worked as a building engineer consultant specializing in building science. Ibrahim has a master’s degree of Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Construction Management from Concordia University.

BASF Canada (BASF) offers a unique Site Quality Assurance Program (SQAP) to ensure its spray polyurethane products are installed according to industry standards and BASF guidelines. For a company to purchase and install WALLTITE® or ENERTITE® spray polyurethane foam insulation under the National Building Code of Canada, they must be:
Ensuring Proper Installation
BASF SQAP utilizes Caliber’s Quality Assurance Program (QAP) as its third-party Certification Organization. This certification program ensures that installers of BASF products have been correctly trained, tested, and evaluated in accordance with the requirements set forth in the CAN-ULC-S705.2-05 application standard and manufacturer’s installation guidelines. This provides assurance for building owners, architects, engineers, building officials, and other stakeholders that the product is being installed correctly, and meets the values listed by the evaluation reports issued by the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC).
